We are 200 members from the world of STEM with strong ties to Barcelona.
We have come together as a community to support the next generation pursue their futures in STEM.
STEM can be empowering
…but it’s not a path available to everyone.
FriquiFund exists because we know that lacking funds for transportation, a computer, tuition fees, or mentorship can be the deciding factor that leads vulnerable students to abandon their studies.
That’s why we help prepare young, disadvantaged geeks for success in future careers.
How do we do that?
1. Fund good work

2. Direct mentorship
Our members provide one-on-one support, bringing with them their real-world experience and connections. We focus on practical skills and guidance to bridge the key transition from training to landing onto their first job.

3. Build community
We regularly stay in touch to share ideas, mobilize resources, and help out when we can.
We also host talks from top experts in the field. These are both fundraising events and a space for FriquiFund members, program participants, our mentees, and the broader Barcelona STEM community to meet and forge a stronger connection.
